WHY MILLET?

Millet is the first foodstuff used by humans and, in all likelihood, the first cereal to be used in households. Millet was already being cultivated 10,000 years ago. The earliest discovery of millet cultivation was dated to 8300 BC in China. There are also records that the plants were cultivated by lake dwellers in Switzerland during the stone age.

This is largely due to the many wonderful properties of millet! Millet is delicious, with a light, sweet and nutty flavour and contains numerous valuable ingredients.
