Goldwell – the best friend of hairstylists
The close relationship with hairdressers was already a concern for the founder of Goldwell, Erich Dotter, and with hisinnovative styling and soon also care products Dotter made the work in many hairdressing salons a lot easier.
It was innovation that helped Goldwell achieve a breakthrough and enabled the company to make its mark in the field ofcolouration as well, among other things through the invention of the Topchic-Depot-System for precise and uncomplicated mixing of colour products.
After European and American expansion, Goldwell achieved another coup and launched a product line that has become one of the classics among professional hair care products: Kerasilk – for hair like silk.
Now also active in Asia through its partnership with KAO, Goldwell continues to shine with its successful strategy of "growth through innovation".
The intensive collaboration with professional hairdressers has been strengthened since 2014 and Goldwell has thus taken up the banner "We Think Stylist" as part of its new philosophy.
