Minimise colour loss with Elumen Color Care:

Elumen colour pigments are infiltrated deep into the hair by a physical effect and become firmly anchored. It is therefore perfectly normal for excess colour to wash out after a visit to the hairdresser, also known as bleeding. To keep colour loss to a minimum, you should use products from the Elumen Color Care range to maintain your Elumen hair colour. In particular, the Elumen Wash conditioning shampoo has been proven to prolong the shelf life and brilliance of your Elumen hair colour.

Goldwell Elumen does not lighten your hair:

Please note that Goldwell Elumen is a hair colour that does not contain any oxidation or ammonia. They are therefore particularly gentle on the hair and provide outstanding shine and brilliant colours. For you, however, this also means that no lightening is possible with Elumen alone. With Elumen Prepare, the hairdresser (professional) can "acidify" your hair directly after a bleaching/lighter colouring and thus optimally prepare it for the subsequent Elumen colour treatment.

Elumen hair colours and grey coverage:

Goldwell Elumen cannot guarantee complete grey coverage. However, the hair colours offer a variety of options to help your hair look sophisticated and mature with soft reflections. Remove Elumen:

If you use Elumen over a longer period of time, the colour pigments anchor themselves deep inside your hair. This means that the longer and more often Elumen is applied, the more difficult it is to remove the colour from the hair. Only directly after the first colour treatment is it possible to remove or reduce the colour result within 48 hours with the help of Elumen Return. Elumen Return does not contain any oxidising or reducing agents and is gentle on your hair.
