The German priest Sebastian Kneipp – also known as hydrotherapist and natural healer – and his friend laid the foundation for the Kneipp brand in 1891. Under the name Kneipp and the knowledge and experience of Kneipp, the pharmacist Leonhard Oberhäusser first manufactured and distributed products.
Under the motto "Best of Science – Best of Nature", the globally popular Kneipp products have been manufactured ever since. Preferably plant-based substances are used. The focus is on optimal compatibility, proven effectiveness and resource conservation. Thus Kneipp also focuses on sustainability. Kneipp products are dermatologically confirmed and free of kerosene, silicones and mineral oils.
