Acid-free universal product for foundational degreasing and preparing the natural nails for optimal enhanced adhesion of LAC Sensation, UV gels (Prolaq) and acrylic! Use the new Alessandro Prep & Prime from now on for every professional modelling or professional colour treatment!
Important: Only use before gel modelling, acrylic, Prolaq or Lac Sensation. (Do not use under Striplac or nail polish).

How to use
The perfect natural nail preparation for PROLAQ:
- Gently push back the cuticles with the cuticle pusher and remove dry, dead cuticle residue that can lead to unwanted lifting
- Gently and thoroughly remove the natural shine of the nail plate with Nailbuffer Moon 100/180 Grit. A filing of the nail plate is not necessary, please clean the natural nail carefully
- Using a nylon brush, remove all dust from the nail plate
- Prepare the nail plate with our acid-free bonding booster and universal degreaser Prep & Prime by applying the product to the natural nail plate. Let the nail surface air dry for about 15 seconds. The product does not need to be hardened
Note: Do not touch the nail plate after the natural nail preparation and avoid all skin contact.
The PROLAQ colour manicure/pedicure
- Apply a thin layer of PROLAQ Base Coat. Make sure to completely coat the nail plate without touching the cuticle. The surface of the natural nails should be evenly smooth and shiny after applying the Base Coat. Seal the nail tip carefully and cure all 5 fingers of one hand under a light curing device. (UV lamp 90 sec. / LED lamp 30 sec.)
Repeat this step on the other hand - After the Base Coat has hardened, remove the inhibition layer with Cleaner, this makes the application of the colour easier
- Begin the colour coating process by wrapping the nail tip. Cure the wrapping under a light curing unit. (UV lamp 120 seconds / LED lamp 30 seconds)
- Apply a thin layer of PROLAQ UV Nail Polish in the colour of your choice on the complete natural nail without touching the cuticle. Then start nail polish starting from the middle of the nail and push the brush gently towards the cuticle. Then apply a thin layer of nail polish to the entire nail and cure all 5 fingers of one hand under a light curing device. (UV lamp 120 sec. / LED lamp 30 sec.)
Repeat this step on the other hand. For an even more intensive color result, repeat step 4 and apply a second thin layer of PROLAQ UV Nail Polish - Apply PROLAQ Top Coat over the already applied UV nail polish. Start the polishing in the middle of the nail and push the brush gently towards the cuticle, then pull the brush towards the tip of the nail. Carefully seal the tip of the nail and cure all 5 fingers of one hand under a light curing device. (UV lamp 120 sec / LED lamp 60 sec)
Repeat this step on the other hand - Remove the inhibition layer with a zelette soaked with Glossy Finish to obtain a brilliant high gloss finish. Then apply your finishing treatment, e.g. Maniqure Hand and Nail Oil
