A clarifying, lightly foaming cleansing gel for oily and/or blemish-prone skin.


Cleanance Cleansing Gel is suitable for contact lens wearers. With its physiological pH, it is soap-free and offers high skin tolerance.


  • Cleansing: lightly foaming.
  • Soothing: thanks to Avène Thermal Spring Water with its soothing and calming properties.
  • Mattifying: reduces excess sebum.


The formula for sensitive skin contains a unique combination of active ingredients, offering three benefits: It gently cleanses the skin, as it is based on gently cleansing ingredients, a mattifying effect ensured by Comedoclastin, a plant-based active ingredient from milk thistle seeds with patented* properties that reduce excess sebum, a soothing effect thanks to the calming Avène Thermal Spring Water. The skin is cleansed, less shiny, and has a more even complexion. Biodegradable formulation**.

How to use

Apply in the morning and/or evening to the damp face, lather with fingertips and water, apply in circular motions to face and neck, rinse thoroughly and pat the face dry gently.

An expert tip: 

  • Cleanse your face in the morning and evening to remove excess sebum that has accumulated during the day and night.
  • If the water in your region is "hard", after cleansing with a cleansing gel, you can apply a mist of Avène Thermal Water Spray. It will have a soothing effect.
