Burgerstein Anti-OX Complex contains a combination of fat- and water-soluble antioxidants that help protect against oxidative stress at various cellular levels. The formulation is complemented by astaxanthin, tocotrienols, L-cysteine and a patented vegetable and fruit extract (Spectra®).
Oxidative stress basically occurs when too many free radicals are formed in the body. Free radicals are produced, for example, by stress, excessive physical strain, increased exposure to harmful environmental substances or in the course of aging (e.g. sun).
