Soliberine is a phytobioactive product, from the flowers of Buddleja officinalis, commonly known as butterfly bush. In traditional medicine, Buddleja, a shrub in the Loganiaceae family, is known for its wound-healing, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiviral and antibacterial properties.
In our CBD Face Cream, soliberine counteracts the negative effects of light rays on the skin. As an active ingredient, delays Soliberine over time the onset of skin ageing and slows the structural and visual appearance of photo-ageing of the skin by neutralising the ROS overproduction caused by light rays.
By protecting against UV, IR and HEV radiation and their damaging effects on the skin, Soliberine acts as a global photoprotectant, thus perfectly complementing our existing anti-ageing formulation.
