How to use

First, choose the appropriate comb, depending on your hair type:

  • Comb with fine tines: For hair type I to IV on the L'Oréal scale* (straight to wavy hair).
  • Comb with medium tines: For hair type V on the L'Oréal scale* (curly hair).
  • Comb with wide tines: For hair type VI and VII on the L'Oréal scale* (very curly to frizzy hair).

Note: For some looks (S-waves, curly hairstyles ...), the comb must be removed. 

Fill the built-in water tank with demineralized water. The unit will not work properly if normal tap water is used.  

Note: The SteamPod will work even with an empty water tank, but for best results, the water tank must be filled before use. 

Then turn on the device and set the appropriate temperature according to your hair texture:

  • 180°C for thin, delicate hair (colored or lightened)
  • 200-210°C for thick, natural hair only

For added safety, place the thermal protection trays on the curl function before straightening. Make sure that the arrows point down during hair styling.

*Equivalencies between the L'Oréal and Walker scales: 

  • Comb with fine tines: Type 1A to 2C.
  • Comb with medium tines: Type 3A to 3C.
  • Comb with wide tines: Type 4A to 4C.
