2 styling modes

The Dyson Airstrait hair straightener has two styling modes: the "wet" and "dry" mode. In wet mode, the hair is straightened and dried at the same time. Dry mode is ideal for refreshing the look after the hair has already been straightened.


Intuitive airflow

Precise airflow, exactly when you need it. The appliance intelligently recognises when hair is between the appliance arms and automatically switches to a low airflow setting between passes – for quieter, energy-saving styling.

How to use

Commissioning

Connecting to the power:

  • Turn on the socket.
  • Check if the RESET button (the larger one) is pressed – the red ring should not be visible.

 

Test:

  • Press the TEST button (the smaller one). The RESET button should pop out – the red ring should be visible.
  • Important: Do not proceed with the steps and do not turn on the device if the RESET button does not pop out. Follow the instructions in the user manual for your device after a failed test.

 

Check LED:

  • If the LED does not light up, proceed to step 4. Reset.
  • Important: Do not proceed with the steps and do not turn on the device if the LED lights up or blinks red. Follow the instructions in the user manual for your device after a failed test.

 

Reset:

  • Press the RESET button (the larger one) – the red ring should not be visible.

 

Switch on:

  • Turn on your Dyson Airstrait hair straightener. Start styling.
