Perio plus Balance is the ideal mouthwash for long-term use and for motor impairments – to reduce the risk of caries and gingivitis.

CHX plus Nature

For almost seventy years, dentistry has been prescribing chlorhexidine, and for good reasons: it works. In addition to CHX digluconate, Perio plus contains natural bioflavonoids extracted from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara): Citrox.

Effect: even stronger

The bioflavonoids of Citrox themselves have a strong antibacterial effect. And in combination with CHX, Citrox even enhances the antibacterial effect of CHX. With Citrox and CHX digluconate, Perio plus has the best conditions for a particularly strong effect.

This is the Citrox/P complex

Citrox comes directly from nature: it is a natural bioflavonoid extract from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara) and is effective against bacteria, even against viruses and fungi. To ensure good adhesion to teeth, gums, and oral mucosa for long-term action, it is combined with the also natural amino acid polylysine: forming the Citrox/P complex.

Good taste, no irritations

Perio plus tastes good: thanks to Citrox and the flavour developed by the aroma professionals at Givaudan. Furthermore, Perio plus does not cause any irritation of the sense of taste: Whether orange juice or pizza, everything tastes as it should.

Tips for preventing discolouration

Avoid tobacco, coffee, black and green tea, red wine, berries, curry, saffron during the therapy. This helps to reduce discolouration. Clean well with a toothbrush, use a whitening toothpaste such as "Black is White" or Be You if necessary. Discolourations can be easily removed by dental professionals.

Use Perio plus or other CHX mouthwashes only on the recommendation of your dentist. In normal circumstances, you do not need this product, toothbrush and interdental brush are sufficient. Follow the instructions of your dental professional for use.
