CHX plus nature

For almost seventy years, dentistry has been prescribing chlorhexidine, and for good reasons: it works. In addition to CHX digluconate, Perio plus contains natural bioflavonoids extracted from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara): Citrox.

Effect: even stronger

The bioflavonoids of Citrox themselves have a strong antibacterial effect. And in combination with CHX, Citrox even enhances the antibacterial effect of CHX. With Citrox and CHX digluconate, Perio plus has the best conditions for a particularly strong effect.

This is the Citrox/P complex

Citrox comes directly from nature: it is a natural bioflavonoid extract from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara) and has a strong effect against bacteria, even against viruses and fungi. In order to adhere well to teeth, gums, and oral mucosa for a long-lasting effect, it is combined with the also natural amino acid polylysine: forming the Citrox/P complex.

Perio plus tastes good: thanks to Citrox and the flavour developed by the aroma professionals at Givaudan. Furthermore, Perio plus does not cause taste disturbances: Whether it's orange juice or pizza, everything tastes as it should.

Tips for preventing discolouration

Avoid tobacco, coffee, black and green tea, red wine, berries, curry, saffron during therapy. This reduces discolouration. Clean well with a toothbrush, possibly use a whitening toothpaste like "Black is White" or "Be You". Discolourations can be easily removed by dental professionals.

Hyaluronic acid accelerates

Especially after surgeries, hyaluronic acid is recommended: It regulates moisture, promotes cell growth, accelerates regeneration. Therefore, this product from Perio plus contains hyaluronic acid.

Use Perio plus or other CHX rinses only on the recommendation of your dentist. In normal circumstances, you do not need this product, toothbrush and interdental brush are sufficient. Follow the instructions of your dental professional for use.
