Chlorhexidine (CHX) concentration 0.09 percent, plus hyaluronic acid: Perio plus Regenerate supports tissue regeneration after dental surgery and in cases of therapy-induced dry mouth.

CHX plus Nature

For almost seventy years, dentistry has been prescribing chlorhexidine, and for good reasons: it works. In addition to CHX digluconate, Perio plus contains natural bioflavonoids extracted from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara): Citrox.

Effect: even stronger

The bioflavonoids from Citrox themselves have antibacterial and antiviral properties. And in combination with CHX, Citrox even enhances the antibacterial effect of CHX. With Citrox and CHX digluconate, Perio plus has the best conditions for a particularly strong effect.

This is the Citrox/P complex

Citrox comes directly from nature: it is a natural bioflavonoid extract from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara) and has a strong effect against bacteria, even against viruses and fungi. To ensure long-lasting action on teeth, gums, and oral mucosa, it is combined with the also natural amino acid polylysine: forming the Citrox/P complex.

Perio plus tastes good: thanks to Citrox and the flavour developed by the aroma professionals at Givaudan. Furthermore, Perio plus does not cause taste disturbances: Whether it's orange juice or pizza, everything tastes as it should.

Tips for discolouration

Avoid tobacco, coffee, black and green tea, red wine, berries, curry, saffron during therapy. This helps reduce discolouration. Clean well with a toothbrush, possibly use a whitening toothpaste like "Black is White" or "Be you". The discolouration can be easily removed by dental professionals.

Hyaluronic acid accelerates

Especially after surgeries, hyaluronic acid is recommended: it regulates moisture, promotes cell growth, accelerates regeneration. Therefore, this product from Perio plus contains hyaluronic acid.
