Warming gel eye mask – microwave safe

How to use
It is recommended to use the BlephaCura Hot/Cold eye mask 1–2 times daily (before inserting contact lenses!) e.g. once in the morning and once in the evening.
- When putting it on, place a damp compress/cotton pad between the facial skin/eyelid and the BlephaCura eye mask to avoid direct skin contact.
- Apply the warmed or cooled BlephaCura eye mask to the closed eyelids for about 4–10 minutes and, if necessary, secure it with the elastic band.
- Afterwards, perform a gentle massage of the eyelid margins.
- Finally, clean the eyelids with a lint-free cotton pad, such as Similasan BlephaCura Pads, soaked in a suitable, ideally surfactant-free cleansing suspension (e.g. Similasan BlephaCura Liquid).
Warming:
- Warm the BlephaCura Hot/Cold eye mask in warm water (approx. 45°C) or in the microwave. Please follow the instructions on the package.
- Warming in water: Place the mask in approximately 45°C warm water for a few minutes (do not use boiling water).
- Warming in microwave: Wrap the mask in a damp cloth and warm it according to the table on the package. Then please check the temperature by holding the mask against the inside of your wrist. For further warming, heat in 5-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached.
Cooling:
- Cooling in refrigerator: Place the BlephaCura Hot/Cold mask in the refrigerator for 60 minutes or longer.
- Cooling in freezer: For quick cooling, place the mask in the freezer for 15 minutes.
