The rockrose (Cistus incanus) is a Mediterranean plant from the rockrose family (Cistaceae), which prefers to grow in sunny, dry regions such as Greece, Turkey and Italy. It has been valued since ancient times for its special properties and remains popular today in teas, extracts or lozenges. With its bushy growth, the rockrose reaches a height of up to one metre and bears striking, delicate pink flowers that characterise the Mediterranean landscape in spring.
