"Beauty is the birthright of every woman" was the motto of cosmetics entrepreneur Elizabeth Arden. As a pioneer of the American beauty industry, she opened the first Red Door Salon on Fifth Avenue in New York in 1910.
Her goal was "perfect beauty". Her salons offered steam treatments, massages and gymnastic exercises, among other things. She developed the well-known Eight Hour Cream and the fragrance Green Tea. Her company was also the first to offer beauty products in special travel sizes.
Whether it was skin care, make-up or fragrances, Elizabeth Arden was convinced that with the skilful combination of nature and science, every woman can achieve a unique charisma. She worked continuously to bring out the latest and best in the market. Even today, the Elizabeth Arden brand continues to excel with its innovative and high-quality products, in keeping with the spirit of its founder. The perfumes of the "Green Tea", "White Tea" and "Sunflowers" lines are particularly popular.
