Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is an endogenous vitaminoid that is essential for energy metabolism in the body's cells. It is needed in all living cells (muscle, nerve and heart cells) for energy production.
Although the body produces it itself, the body's own production decreases sharply from the age of 40, in addition, sport, stress and the taking of medication often increase the need for CoQ10. In these cases, supplementation with CBD Vital Coenzyme Q10 plus makes sense.
Coenzyme Q10 has a strong antioxidant effect, protects the nerves and genetic material, stabilises the cell membranes and thus gives the cell new energy. Coenzyme Q10 can scavenge harmful free radicals or regenerate "used up" vitamin E.
Because CoQ10 is a fat-soluble antioxidant, it protects cell proteins or unsaturated fatty acids of cell walls from peroxidation (oxidative damage).
