INCREASE YOUR VITALITY
Detoxify your body and recharge your batteries!
Detox means detoxification and refers to the cleansing of the body from the consequences of an unhealthy diet, hormonal stress, stress and pollutants from the environment. Toxins can accumulate in the body as a result of poor diet, alcohol, smoking, air pollution or stress.
Our most important detoxification organs are the liver, kidneys, intestines, skin and lungs. They ensure that the body constantly cleanses itself of environmental toxins. However, if the detoxification organs are overloaded or not fully functional due to illness, an adapted diet and a detox programme can make a big difference.
DETOX IS NOT THE SAME AS A DIET
Toxins sit in the fat cells and are released when the fat is broken down. Digestion and metabolism work at full speed.
With a pure liquid diet (juices and smoothies), the pounds can just tumble off. However, if you want to lose weight, detox diets should not be the method of choice, as the aim is to gently rid the body of toxins and not necessarily to lose weight. Another problem in this context is that detox is tantamount to a zero diet, which in many cases is followed by the yo-yo effect. To lose weight in the long term and keep it off, it is still important to exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet.
💡Tip: If you do want to lose a few kilos, a detox programme is certainly the right way to start ridding your body of toxins.
Vitamin B12: Is of great importance for our physical and mental performance. Vitamin B12 is an important component of the energy metabolism. Vitamin B12 also plays a decisive role in detoxification. It helps the body to excrete toxic amino acids.
Iron: Is vital for our body as it is responsible for the absorption of oxygen in the blood and transport to all body cells.
Alkalising powders: When the body and the excretory organs are overloaded, some of the excess acids are deposited in the body. Alkalising powders help the body to eliminate these more effectively.
Amino acids: Accelerate all metabolic processes in the body. They form new tissue for muscles, organs, hair and skin. Amino acids also play an important role in bone formation and the immune system.
Chromium: In addition to the important task of regulating blood sugar (carbohydrate utilisation), chromium is also important in our organism for fat metabolism and the regulation of blood lipid levels.
💡Tip: Do a Gua Sha massage 2-3 times a week. This acts like a gentle lymphatic drainage and ensures that harmful substances such as waste products, acids and toxins are removed from the skin more quickly.
