How to use
To remove the extensions from your own hair, you will need a remover. Use Hairtalk Solvent tape remover to remove the tape or adhesive.
- Preparation: Remove the old tape or adhesive.
- Apply enough hairtalk Solvent remover to the top edge of your tape extensions strand from above. Preferably so that the remover can work well on the hair strand between the two tape extensions strands.
- Massage it in.
- Use the handle of a comb to lightly and carefully open the "sandwich" from the top and spray some remover on it once more.
- Leave it to work for about half a minute.
- Pull the tape extensions strands apart with your fingernail or a handle comb, starting in the middle and working from the top. Caution: It is important that you do not pull from the side like when removing a plaster or the like, but gently pull from the top downwards, otherwise the strands may tear!
- Remove the hair pieces piece by piece until the entire hair extension is worked through with the remover.
- Massage the remover into any remaining residue.
- Afterwards, you can attach new tape or glue to the hair edge of the extensions and reuse the hair strands.
Tip: After the tape or adhesive has been removed from the hair, you should also wash any adhesive residue on your own hair with an intensive shampoo or cleansing shampoo to degrease the hair. This prepares the natural hair for a new hair extension. Degreasing your own hair is very important to ensure that new tape or glue sticks to the extensions permanently so that they do not come off again.
