Geek & Gorgeous Calm Down is an especially gentle exfoliant designed specifically for sensitive, redness-prone skin.
It contains 4% PHA and BHA acids (salicylic acid), which give the skin a healthy glow while simultaneously hydrating, soothing and protecting it. PHA acids exfoliate more gently than AHA acids. The 3.2% PHA in the formula effectively removes dead skin cells from the skin’s surface and also has hydrating and antioxidant properties. Furthermore, 0.8% salicylic acid penetrates deep into the pores to remove dead skin cells. It also has anti-inflammatory effects and restores balance to irritated skin. The formula combines PHA and BHA acids with various soothing, antioxidant and hydrating ingredients, so Calm Down not only provides the skin with a gentle exfoliation but also soothes and supplies it with plenty of moisture.
The liquid texture feels as light as a toner on the skin. The exfoliant has a pH value of 3.5–3.9, making it ideal for sensitive skin or when highly concentrated active ingredients such as retinoids are used in the skincare routine.
