The soft-to-solid formula transforms after application and forms a sheath around the hair. This keeps the product moist inside and ensures optimal, powerful lightening.
The creamy consistency in combination with Swell-Control Technology ensures precise, controlled application and even product distribution – ideal for creative freehand techniques.
Note:
- Old and new lighteners and toner products are generally compatible but should be combined selectively.
- New lightening powders in combination with the new developers deliver the best results together.

How to use
- Mix BlondMe Clay Lightener with BlondMe Premium Developer 6%|20 Vol., 9%|30 Vol., or 12%|40 Vol. at a mixing ratio of 1:1.5 to 1:2.
- Apply to dry hair immediately after mixing. Apply to unwashed hair. The correct amount of product and even distribution ensure optimal colour results.
- Leave to develop for 20–45 minutes and check visually. Do not use artificial heat such as steamers or hood dryers.
- After the development time, rinse thoroughly, shampoo, and treat with BlondMe Care.
Please note: The use of additional bonding systems may impair performance. Do not apply directly to the scalp.
Mixing old and new lightening powders
- Not recommended. The old and new powders should not be mixed together.
- In practice, this rarely poses a problem, as existing powder canisters can easily be used up. Compatibility with developers
- The new lightening powders are compatible with the existing developers.
- Lightening results and product behaviour remain unchanged.
- The new Swell-Control Technology shows its full effect when new powder is combined with new developer → minimised swelling.
- A combination with old developers is technically possible and works reliably.
