How to use
Important note:
Before use, carefully read the safety instructions on the back of the directions for use. Perform an allergy alert test. Apply the product immediately after mixing.
1. Preparation:
- Before you begin, prepare a protective cape and a watch to monitor the development time.
- Syoss Oleo Intense is applied to dry, unwashed hair.
- It is recommended not to wash the hair 24–48 hours before application.
2. Mixing:
- Put on the protective cape and the enclosed gloves.
- Remove the cap from the applicator bottle.
- Open the tube of Colour Care Cream by piercing the tube seal with the reverse side of the cap.
- Squeeze the entire contents into the applicator bottle.
- Screw the applicator bottle back on and shake it vigorously until everything is fully blended into a smooth cream.
- Then break off the tip of the applicator nozzle and begin application without delay.
3.A. Full application:
This application is necessary if you are permanently colouring your hair for the first time or your previous hair colour has completely grown out so that, for example, no regrowth is visible.
- Apply the prepared colour mixture from the developer bottle directly, strand by strand, to dry, unwashed hair.
- Distribute thoroughly to ensure the entire hair is evenly covered.
- Leave the colour mixture to develop for 30 minutes.
- For shades 9-10 and 10-50 we recommend a development time of 45 minutes.
3.B. Root treatment:
This application is necessary if your hair is already permanently coloured and regrowth is visible, or your ends are darker or damaged.
- First apply ⅔ of the colour mixture directly from the developer bottle only to the regrowth on dry, unwashed hair.
- To do this, part each section using the tip of the applicator bottle to create a parting.
- Now apply the colour mixture along the parting and spread it over the roots with your fingertips (please keep the enclosed gloves on).
- Repeat this process over the entire root area.
- Leave the colour mixture to develop for 20 minutes.
- Then distribute the rest of the mixture evenly through the lengths and ends and leave for a further 10 minutes.
- For shades 7-77, 5-77 and 5-92 a development time of 15 minutes is recommended.
- Then distribute the rest of the mixture evenly through the lengths and ends and leave for a further 15 minutes.
- For shades 9-10 and 10-50 a development time of 35 minutes is recommended.
- Then distribute the rest of the mixture evenly through the lengths and ends and leave for a further 10 minutes.
Rinsing and aftercare:
- After the development time, add a little warm water and lather the hair.
- Then rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear.
- Then wash your hair with a shampoo.
