For the traditional preparation of a matcha tea, a Japanese bamboo whisk, known as a Chasen, is used. The bamboo whisk is intricately crafted from a single piece of bamboo. Only specially trained artisans master the unique technique with which the bristles are cut and shaped.

How to use
- For a traditional matcha, put 1/2 teaspoon of Raab Organic Matcha into a bowl and pour over with 80°C hot, preferably soft water.
- Then whisk the tea with the matcha whisk for about 15 seconds until frothy (W-shaped movement).
- Using the matcha whisk creates a homogeneous, creamy foam layer on the surface of the tea.
- The whisk should be placed in hot water for a short time before use.
