Responsible use of nature

As a pioneer of natural cosmetics, ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND – Natural Beauty stood for lived sustainability, even before a general awareness of this topic developed. To this day this is not only reflected in the use of our own, unadulterated, pure deep spring water, but also in the careful use of resources.

In order to protect endangered plant species and not to further endanger them through commercial use, ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND uses partly nature-identical substances. Extracts from dead animals have always been avoided and – whenever possible – plants from controlled organic cultivation or wild collection are used. Likewise, raw materials from genetically modified organisms are consistently avoided.

All ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND products are vegetarian and in many cases also vegan – in exceptional cases natural substances such as beeswax are used because of their special properties if they cannot be obtained in any other way. The products are marked accordingly on the packaging. Silicones and mineral oil derivatives (such as parabens or paraffins) are consistently avoided.
