The intensely masculine, intriguing yet authentic perfume is a fragrance of extremes - warm facets of golden neroli with jet-black leather in a mysterious expression of olfactory chiaroscuro.
The fragrance opens with the luminous accents of golden neroli essence melding with fresh cypress and warm, aromatic cardamom. Heart notes of musky cashmeran with soothing clary sage and resinous benzoin infuse the neroli with woody, spicy vibrations. Then the fragrance unfolds into an intoxicating base note that is simply addictive: the brightness of neroli gives way to the smoky notes of jet-black leather, which mingle with the sweet spiciness of patchouli and the sophisticated accords of rockrose labdanum.
The bottle features the same pure geometric lines as the original The One for Men, but is presented in black, Dolce & Gabbana's iconic colour. The sleek black shape symbolises elegance, sensuality and tradition and is accentuated by radiant golden embellishments that reflect the perfume's signature facets.
