The Elmex children's toothpaste for children from 0–6 years with 0% colourants contains the unique amino fluoride for effective protection. It forms a calcium fluoride protective layer on the tooth enamel, making the teeth more resistant to caries-induced mineral breakdown and helping to reincorporate minerals leached out by caries back into the tooth enamel.
The children's toothpaste contains the doctor-recommended fluoride content of 500 ppm.
