HANSAPLAST Scar Reduction is a transparent, self-adhesive plaster made of polyurethane. Products made of this material have been used in professional wound care for years. The plasters do not contain active ingredients (pharmaceuticals) that can cause side effects. They are a safe and efficient way to effectively reduce raised and coloured hypertrophic scarsandnbsp;orandnbsp;keloid scars.

At the same time, it leads to an increase in temperature in the scar tissue. This helps to activate the skin's own regeneration process and supports the remodelling of the scar. Clinical studies have shown positive results when the scar plaster is worn for at least 12 hours a day over a period ofandnbsp;8 weeks. First results are visible after 3 – 4 weeks. A wearing duration of more than 8 weeks can additionally increase the success of the treatment.
