Collistar Clean Research, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Ancona, which is at the forefront of efforts to protect the sea and its creatures, has developed a new certified sunscreen line that is completely harmless to marine flora and fauna.

The formulas are the result of more than 3 years of intensive research were developed and tested in real marine conditions. They contain all the essentials and guarantee maximum efficacy as well as safety for the skin and the environment, without affecting the natural balance of the marine ecosystem.

Thanks to a combination of sun filters that block UVA, UVB and long UVA rays, SPF 50+ sunscreen guarantees maximum protection for all skin types and for the marine ecosystem.

Environmentally safe formula

Environmentally sound is the term used to describe products that do not have a negative impact on the environment or its biological components and do not cause damage or alteration to animal or plant species.

Formula tested under natural and real marine conditions

Multiple tests on Mediterranean and tropical organisms, representing marine biodiversity and at different stages of development, show that the formula does not alter the natural balance of marine life as well as does not affect biodiversity. The formula has been 100% tested by marine biologists at the Polytechnic University of Ancona.

Pure formula

All ingredients have been selected and tested with extreme care and according to strict criteria: The formula contains only what is essential and necessary to protect and moisturise the skin and protect the environment.

It has been enriched with an innovative biotechnological active ingredient - inspired by the sea anemone and its defence mechanism against external influences - capable of inhibiting the skin's inflammatory response to sun-induced stress and providing an immediate well-being.

Bottle and cap: made of PCR plastic (post-consumer recycled) and thus recycled, but most importantly 100% recyclable. Packaging board: paper made from 100% recycled fibres, FSC-certified (from responsibly managed forests), recyclable and also biologically degradable as well as emission-free.
