Calmellia - SOS Multi Relief Balm

Calmellia SOS Multi Relief Balm is a multi-purpose and emergency balm for face, hair and body infused with the oil of Japanese camellia. Formulated with a plant oil shield, a blend of four botanical oils* that mimics the skin's natural lipid composition, it forms a protective veil that provides moisture and nutrients to all dry and damaged skin areas.

A composition of leading and unique ingredients:

• Camel seed oil from the Goto Islands: This precious Japanese oil is rich in oleic acid and is very close to the fatty acids that occur naturally in the skin. It is used by Shiseido in its SOS Calmellia Multi Relief Waso Balm for its incredible benefits for skin and hair. It acts as an emollient that moisturizes the skin and protects hair fibers from damage while enhancing the hair's natural shine.
• Vegetable Squalane Oil: Squalane mimics squalene, which is naturally biosynthesized in the body, and is an important component of human sebum, giving it an incredible affinity for skin.
• Leaf oil of Eucalyptus Globulus: Known for its aromatherapy

• Jojoba Seed Oil: Jojoba oil is a powerful emollient that moisturizes and mimics the wax esters found in the skin's protective hydrolipidic film.

Four supporting components:

• Tocopherol: This natural form of vitamin E prevents ingredients from oxidizing and preserves the freshness of the formula.
• Dextrin palmitate This compound of plant origin acts as a natural thickener that adjusts the texture of the oil in your formula.
• Triisostearin: This is the only ingredient that is not of natural origin. It is a mixture of glycerin and stearic acid, a fatty acid. It improves the texture of the balm and gives it a rich, soft feel.
