How to use
Preparation:
- Diagnosis and selection of the appropriate Lasting Shape Curling Lotion according to hair type: Before performing the service, check the hair quality to ensure that the hair is in good condition. Assess previous treatments (colouring, perm, bleaching, etc.) to select the most suitable Lasting Shape Curling Lotion for the customer's hair type. When in doubt, choose the mildest lotion (2).
- Determining the shape (indirect application): Choose the size, diameter, and type of rods and curlers according to the desired look (wave or curl) and desired movement and technique.
- Hair preparation: Wash the hair. Shampoo with a neutral shampoo, dry the hair with a towel, and comb it gently. Avoid massaging the scalp.
Application:
- Applying the Lasting Shape Curling Lotion: Saturate each rod/curler carefully with the selected curling lotion, ensuring it does not run onto the scalp. If the lotion comes into contact with the skin, rinse it thoroughly with water and cotton pads. Protect the front and nape area with cotton strips and cover the hair with plastic wrap. Do not use heat.
- Processing time and rinsing: Follow the recommended processing time for the product. Rinse the Lasting Shape Curly Lotion out of the hair for at least 5 minutes without removing the curlers. Pat the hair dry gently with a towel to remove excess moisture.
- Application of the Lasting Shape Curly Neutralizer: Apply the Neutralizer to the hair while the curlers are still in place. Leave it on for 5 minutes. Then unwrap the hair and gently remove the curlers. Apply the Neutralizer a 2nd time with a sponge and leave it on for another 5 minutes.
- Rinsing and styling: Rinse the hair thoroughly and apply a styling product (e.g. from the Style Masters range). Dry the hair with a hairdryer and diffuser.
