NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in all living cells. It acts as an electron carrier in the mitochondria, making it crucial for ATP production (Adenosine Triphosphate, ATP). ATP is a high-energy compound present in all living cells and serves as a universal energy carrier. ATP provides the energy for numerous processes within the cells.
