Perm Slightly Damaged (Slightly Damaged Hair)
- Chemically treated/colored hair, highlights (up to 30%), or heat-damaged hair.
- Degree of hair damage: 4–6 (out of 10).
- 0=healthy hair / 10=severely damaged hair.

How to use
- Shampoo the hair with a suitable Dualsenses Shampoo without massaging the scalp.
- Spray Dualsenses Curls and Waves Hydrating Serum Spray onto the hair to detangle and make it easier to wrap.
- Wrap the hair with the appropriate size of rollers/papillotes and the correct technique for the desired look.
- Use a medium section for thick hair and a wider section for fine hair. Work from the crown to the nape.
- Comb through the section. Use end papers for the tips.
- Always wrap with tension that corresponds to the desired curl result. Do not apply perm lotion before wrapping!
- Thoroughly saturate each roller/papillote (2 to 3 times) with the selected Perm Lotion (R/N/SD/D type). Work from the nape to the crown. Repeat this step 2 to 3 times. Use a towel/napkin to prevent dripping. Wear suitable gloves.
- Application according to the instructions for use. Processing time always depends on a test strand.
- Check with a test roller whether the hair has achieved the desired curl strength (unwrap the roller/papillote 1 1/2 times and check the curl pattern):
- Too short processing time: limp and weak curl pattern.
- Optimal processing time: dynamic elasticity of the curl pattern.
- Too long processing time: limp, weakly curled, and damaged curl pattern.
- After the processing time, rinse the perm lotion thoroughly for at least 3 minutes.
- Gently blot with a towel/napkin to remove excess water. Apply Perm Fix Fixing with an application bottle to the rollers/papillotes. Thoroughly saturate each roller/papillote (2–3 times). Use 2/3 of the full recommended amount. Leave on for 7 minutes.

- Option 1: Carefully remove the rollers/papillotes. Do not pull the hair down. Apply the remaining 1/3 Perm Fix Fixing of the recommended amount. Leave on for another 3 minutes.
- Option 2: Replace the second neutralization step with Colorance or Colorance Gloss Tones shades. They are mixed with System Developer Lotion 2% and can be used instead of the second neutralization step if a color refresh is required. Leave on for 15 minutes (Colorance shades) or 10 minutes (Colorance Gloss Tones shades) without heat, then rinse thoroughly (3 to 5 minutes). Do not pull the hair down during the processing time.
- Treat with System Hydrator. For additional care, use Dualsenses Curls and Waves Hydrating Serum Spray. Use a suitable StyleSign product to give the curls/waves a perfect finish.
