Aptamil Eiweiss+ – Protein supplement to meet the protein needs of premature infants
- As an addition to fortified breast milk (with human milk supplement, e.g. Aptamil FMS) or premature infant formula (e.g. Aptamil Prematil or Aptamil Prematil HA), to meet the higher protein needs of premature infants with very low birth weight (<1,000g) and thus support adequate growth and optimal development.
- Hydrolysed protein.
Important note: Breastfeeding is ideal for the child. Infant formula should only be used on the advice of a paediatrician or other healthcare professional. Foods for special medical purposes should only be used under medical supervision.

How to use
For the dietary treatment of premature infants with very low birth weight (<1,000 g), whose protein requirements cannot be met by conventional premature infant formulas/products.
Consume immediately after opening. Use under the utmost care and strict hygiene standards and in a sterile environment to prevent risks from microbiological contamination.
- Wash hands.
- Weigh the powder and add it to the food.
- Prepare food fresh before each meal and administer within 2 hours.
- Do not reuse leftovers.
