Premature infants have a higher requirement for energy, protein, certain minerals, and vitamins compared to full-term infants. This unique Apamil PDF (Post Discharge Formula) has been specifically developed for the special nutritional needs of premature infants with increased growth requirements from a body weight of 1,800 g after hospital discharge.
The composition meets the current scientific recommendations for the nutrition of premature infants after hospital discharge. With its adjusted energy, protein, and nutrient content, Apamil PDF supports a steady weight gain and appropriate growth.

How to use
Aptamil PDF is suitable as the sole nutrition for premature infants after hospital discharge with a weight of 1,800 g, if you are not breastfeeding.
Dosage: The number and amount of liquid per bottle vary individually. The average intake is 150 – 170 ml/kg body weight per day. Please use only the included measuring spoon, which holds approximately 4.9 g when levelled off.
- 2 measuring spoons + 60 ml water = 70 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 3 measuring spoons + 90 ml water = 100 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 4 measuring spoons + 120 ml water = 130 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 5 measuring spoons + 150 ml water = 170 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 6 measuring spoons + 180 ml water = 200 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 7 measuring spoons + 210 ml water = 230 ml ready-to-drink formula
