Aptamil Prematil: Special nutrition for premature infants
Premature infants have special nutritional needs due to high growth rates, lack of nutrient reserves, and the immaturity of various organs, which are significantly higher than the nutritional needs of full-term infants.
The unique Aptamil Prematil has been specifically developed for the increased energy and nutrient requirements of premature infants up to 1,800 g.
Important note: Breastfeeding is ideal for the child. Infant formula should only be used on the advice of a paediatrician or other healthcare professional. Foods for special medical purposes should only be used under medical supervision.

How to use
Aptamil Prematil is suitable as the sole nutrition for premature infants from birth, if you are not breastfeeding.
Dosage: The dosage is based on medical advice depending on the child's weight. The average drinking amount is usually 150–170 ml/kg body weight per day. Depending on the child's age and tolerance, the amount should be divided into 6–12 meals. Please use only the enclosed measuring spoon, which holds approximately 5.6 g when levelled.
- 2 measuring spoons + 60 ml water = 70 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 3 measuring spoons + 90 ml water = 100 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 4 measuring spoons + 120 ml water = 130 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 5 measuring spoons + 150 ml water = 170 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 6 measuring spoons + 180 ml water = 200 ml ready-to-drink formula
- 7 measuring spoons + 210 ml water = 230 ml ready-to-drink formula
