Elevit Provital Omega3 is a dietary supplement specifically designed to facilitate the intake of the essential omega-3 fatty acid DHA during pregnancy and breastfeeding. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the long-chain omega-3 fatty acid DHA is paramount. DHA is an important building block for the eyes and brain.
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential and cannot be produced by the body itself. Therefore, it is especially important during pregnancy and breastfeeding to ensure adequate intake. The mother's intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the normal development of the eyes and brain of the fetus and the breastfed infant.
Take one capsule daily with plenty of liquid (preferably cold). Elevit Provital Omega3 does not replace multivitamin intake and should be taken in addition to them. The small capsules are easy to swallow and are also taste and odor-neutral. DHA is derived from the microalga Schizochytium. Elevit Provital Omega3 contains the recommended daily dose of DHA for pregnant women (200 mg).
