Origin & terroir: This organic Matcha comes from Uji, Kyoto – one of the most renowned tea regions in Japan. The tea plants are shaded up to 32 days before harvest, which allows a particularly intense aroma to develop. After gentle steaming, the leaves are traditionally ground in granite stone mills with a grinding capacity of around 30 g Matcha per hour into a fine powder.

What is Matcha?

Matcha is finely ground green tea, where the whole tea leaf is consumed. This creates an intense, full-bodied flavour experience with a natural content of antioxidants.
