La-Eva is a British, inclusive wellbeing brand founded on a holistic philosophy and inspired by a «joie de vivre». It celebrates the pure, precious gifts of nature and the interplay of fragrance, the senses and art.

The brand creates fragrances as well as skincare and haircare, crafted slowly and thoughtfully from natural, largely organic ingredients in the spirit of «less is more». Each product is a small ritual of self-care, bringing harmony and joy into everyday life.

La-Eva is vegan and ocean-friendly, and comes in partially recycled amber glass and refillable aluminium to help protect the planet.

The Brand's Journey

La-Eva is the organic evolution of an artisanal soap studio founded by psychologist Dr Louisa Canham. After completing a doctorate at Oxford and spending many years working in child and adolescent psychiatry, she discovered the gentle, creative craft of traditional cold-process soapmaking.

Her simple, artistic soaps, handmade in a rustic studio, were initially sold at festivals, independent shops and London's Spitalfields Market, gradually building a loyal following. Over time, the brand took on a more defined shape: it launched with a wash and a lotion and carefully expanded its range over time.

Today, La-Eva is made in Thame, South Oxfordshire, where wide-open views and an adjoining woodland nurture a deep connection with nature.

The approach remains rooted in a considered understanding of wellbeing, a love of the plant world and a belief in living a fulfilling life: simply, to be a «bon vivant».
