“ENZBORN – naturally for your skin” stands for proven, effective skincare, which we have been developing and manufacturing with the utmost care in Germany for four generations. Since the company was founded in 1910 , our ethos has been shaped by the highest quality standards, a spirit of research and tried-and-tested formulas – the heart of our brand.

ENZBORN has a long history

It all began in 1910 with the famous milking grease, which was so popular with farmers because it cared for their hands after working in the barn. At that time, the products were still marketed under the name of the family business, Eimermacher. Since the start of milking grease production – as a small family business always in close contact with consumers – there has been a wide range of feedback regarding the beneficial effects of the milking greases: it was found that chapped hands became soft and supple again. Building on this tradition, the Melkers Original range remains a fundamental part of the ENZBORN range to this day.

In the early 1980s, the products were launched under the ENZBORN brand, and the skincare range was enriched and further developed with many additional natural ingredients such as calendula, aloe vera and devil’s claw . The ENZBORN range now offers an extensive selection of products. The tradition and the natural formulations have now been passed on to the fourth generation and are enhanced by innovative approaches in research and development.

“Made in Germany” represents a promise of quality for the company.

Production takes place exclusively at the Nordwalde site in the Münsterland region. The entire value chain is managed in-house: research & development, production, storage, marketing and sales are all interlinked and guarantee the highest quality. No product that does not meet the highest standards and whose efficacy has not been scientifically proven leaves the laboratory. The company has the highest standards for the highest possible quality of all products: raw materials, formulations and manufacturing processes at Eimermacher are subject to pharmaceutical law and the production guidelines for human cosmetics.

The GMP certificate, the highest official recognition in the pharmaceutical production sector, attests that the company meets the requirements for quality assurance and quality control . The company’s ongoing efforts to adopt even more environmentally friendly production methods, for example through waste reduction and reducing energy- and cleaning agent consumption, have been recognised with the Ökoprofit certificate.
