Soap making according to Dr. Bronner's method

Soap has been made for millennia. Alongside the creation of fire, the transformation of oils and fats into soap is one of the oldest and simplest chemical reactions known to humanity.

Unlike most commercial soap manufacturers who recover glycerin from their soaps through distillation to sell it separately, Dr. Bronner's leaves it in their soaps because of its excellent moisturising properties. Dr. Bronner's soaps are enriched with natural vitamin E and citric acid (both from non-genetically modified sources) to preserve freshness.

Quality in soap making means choosing the right oils in the right proportions. By using coconut and olive oils in the correct ratio, Dr. Bronner's soaps combine the best of 2 worlds: plenty of lather that is gentle on the skin.
