Natural nail preparation for Prolaq:

  1. Gently push back the cuticle with the Hoof Stick and remove dry, dead cuticle residue that can lead to unwanted lifting.
  2. Gently and thoroughly remove the natural shine from the nail plate with the Nailbuffer Moon 100/180 Grit. Filing the nail plate is not necessary, please clean the natural nail carefully.
  3. Remove all dust residues from the nail plate with the help of a dust brush.
  4. Prepare the nail plate with our acid-free Bonding Booster and Bonding Booster Prep & Prime by applying the product to the natural nail plate. Allow the nail surface to air dry for approximately 15 seconds. The product does not need to be cured.
  5. Note: Do not touch the nail plate after natural nail preparation and avoid all skin contact.



Colour manicure with Prolaq:

  1. Apply a thin layer of Prolaq Base Coat Strong. Make sure to paint the nail plate completely without touching the cuticle. The surface of the natural nails should be evenly smooth and shiny after applying the base coat. Seal the nail tip carefully and cure all 5 fingers of one hand under a light curing unit. (UV lamp 90 sec. / LED lamp 30 sec.) Repeat this step on the other hand.
  2. After curing the base coat, remove the inhibition layer with Cleaner, this makes it easier to apply the colour.
  3. Start colour coating by wrapping the tip of the nail. Cure the sheathing under a light curing unit. (UV lamp 120 sec. / LED lamp 30 sec.) 
  4. Apply a thin layer of Prolaq UV nail polish in the colour of your choice to the complete natural nail without touching the cuticle. Then apply the varnish starting from the centre of the nail and gently push the brush towards the cuticle. Then apply another thin coat of varnish to the entire nail and cure all 5 fingers of one hand under a light curing unit. (UV lamp 120 sec. / LED lamp 30 sec.) Repeat this step on the other hand. For an even more intense colour result, repeat step 4 and apply a second thin coat of Prolaq UV nail polish.
  5. Apply Prolaq Top Coat over the already applied UV nail polish. Start applying polish in the centre of the nail and gently push the brush towards the cuticle, then pull the brush towards the tip of the nail. Carefully seal the tip of the nail and cure all 5 fingers of one hand under a light curing unit. (UV lamp 120 sec. / LED lamp 60 sec.) Repeat this step on the other hand.
  6. Remove the inhibition layer with a zelette soaked in Glossy Finish for a brilliant high-shine finish. Then apply your finishing care, e.g. Maniqure Hand and Nail Oil.
