Origin & terroir: This organic Matcha comes from Uji, Kyoto – one of Japan’s most renowned tea regions. The tea plants are shaded up to 32 days before harvest, allowing a particularly intense aroma to develop. After gentle steaming, the leaves are traditionally ground into fine powder in granite stone mills at a rate of around 30 g Matcha per hour.

What is Matcha?

Matcha is finely ground green tea where the whole tea leaf is consumed. This creates an intense, full-bodied taste experience with a natural content of antioxidants.
