Hair colour & toning

Use different color dimensions and not just one hair color, as this can fade quickly. However, if you apply a hair dye with different pigmentations, the color will fade less quickly. You should also avoid cool shades and opt for warm, rich tones instead, as they make the hair look thicker and fuller. 

The difference lies in the time. With coloring, the color is transported into the cuticle layer. This means it is firmly anchored and doesn't wash out so quickly. The disadvantage is that if the coloration grows out slowly, the natural shade grows back on top, which may not look very nice. 

Tinting, on the other hand, is short-lived as it only envelops the hair fiber from the outside. The new look is washed out after around six to eight washes. The advantage: the color pigments fade evenly compared to coloring.

Preparation is everything:
Read the package insert carefully. This will tell you whether you need to apply the dye to damp or dry hair. 
Use particularly rich care products in the time before and after the planned bleaching, as the hair will be somewhat damaged afterwards. 
Be patient and allow enough time. Depending on the shade of your natural hair, you may need several applications to achieve the desired result

Bleaching products can irritate the skin, so you should protect your skin particularly well. Before bleaching, apply a thick layer of oily day cream or Vaseline to the areas of skin that may come into contact with the bleaching product: Hairline, ears and neck.

Always wear gloves to avoid irritating the skin on your hands.
